Draw pixel art online, free
Pixelight is a pixel art editor that runs in your browser. Every tool works on whole pixels, the canvas stays sharp at every zoom, and your drawing is kept on your device as you work.
Step by step
- Start a sprite. Open Pixelight and pick a size: 16 × 16 or 32 × 32 suit characters and icons, 64 × 64 and up suit portraits and scenes.
- Pick a colour. Click a swatch in the palette for the first colour, right-click for the second. The picker above the palette makes any colour.
- Draw. The pencil (B) paints one pixel at a time. Leave on for clean one-pixel lines without doubled corners.
- Use the shape tools. Line (L), rectangle (U) and ellipse (Shift+U). Hold Shift for straight lines and perfect circles.
- Fill. The bucket (G) fills an area of one colour. Set a tolerance to fill near colours too.
- Zoom and pan. Scroll or pinch to zoom, hold Space and drag to pan, press 0 to fit the sprite.
- Save. Ctrl+S saves a
.pixelightfile with everything: layers, frames, palette. Export a PNG from .
